Data Deletion Request
How to request deletion of your data from ChattyPilot Social AI
1. Data Deletion Overview
In compliance with data protection regulations and platform policies (including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp), ChattyPilot provides a way for you to request the deletion of your personal data. When you submit a data deletion request, we will remove all of your personal information from our systems.
2. What Data Gets Deleted
Upon receiving a valid data deletion request, we will delete the following:
- Your account information (name, email address, phone number)
- Social media access tokens and connected account data
- Training data and documents you uploaded
- AI conversation history and message logs
- Analytics and usage data associated with your account
- Any other personal data stored in our systems
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:
Option A: From Your Account
Log in to your ChattyPilot account, navigate to Settings, and select Delete Account & Data. This will immediately initiate the deletion process.
Option B: Via Email
Send an email to privacy@chattypilot.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before processing the request.
Option C: Facebook / Instagram Platform Callback
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to ChattyPilot and wish to delete your data, you can also initiate deletion directly from your Facebook Settings under Apps and Websites → ChattyPilot Social AI → Remove. This triggers our automated data deletion callback, which processes your request immediately.
4. Processing Timeline
Once we receive your data deletion request:
- We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours
- Your data will be removed from active systems within 30 days
- Backup copies will be purged within 90 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
5. Data Retention Exceptions
We may retain certain data where required by law, including:
- Transaction records required for financial/tax reporting
- Data necessary for legal compliance or dispute resolution
- Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you
